Whirlwind Productions provides professional and affordable quality films and media training by using skilled and experienced people who have a track record of working in the media.

Director Gail Downey has worked as a TV producer and reporter making programmes for BBC, ITV and The History Channel. She has made films for the NHS, COI, Local Government Channel, Third Sector, Businesses and Universities including Birmingham City Council, Leicester City NHS, Oxford BID, Digital UK and the Institute of Mechanical and Biological Engineering.

She has made website films for family run businesses and complementary health practitioners and covered a range of exhibitions at the NEC and Earl’s Court including The National Wedding Show, The Boat Show, and the Motorhome and Caravan Show.

Gail works with editors who have produced films for the Football Association, Virgin Media and British Forces Broadcasting Service. She and her colleagues have worked in the UK and abroad and have an in-depth understanding of how to produce first class films which inform and enhance the reputation of your organisation. They have experience of working in sensitive situations and with sensitive issues and always ensure those taking part are comfortable with the process.
