Media Training Gail works for a number of media training companies. She has led courses for a wide range of clients including major high street banks, technology firms, health bosses, local government and charities. Because she still broadcasts on a regular basis and makes factual programmes Gail understands what the media are looking for. She knows what makes a great soundbite and the pressures on spokesmen and women whether the story is positive or negative. Gail has been on the "other side" asking those awkward questions in print; on radio and in TV news too. She has worked as a reporter producing news reports and handling live interviews with guests for both ITV and BBC TV. She's been a news presenter for BBC Radio Five Live carrying out live interviews and presented news programmes for ITV networks both from the studio and on location. The media is much more aggressive, much more immediate than even five years ago, more outlets and more demanding. This means those who deal with the press need to know the person training them has the most up to date knowledge and experience. Gail also runs her own courses specialising in those new to the media.
