Publicity Training & Workshops
How to Get Publicity
Our publicity training workshops are designed for small to medium size businesses who don’t have the backing of a full-time PR team. The aim is to show how you can generate your own publicity simply and without having to spend too much time or money.
Delegates on the publicity training workshops will be given an understanding of how a newsroom works from what makes a story through to deadlines and who to target for the most appropriate coverage for your organisation in print, broadcast and online. The secrets of an eye-catching press release will also be revealed.
The publicity training course is run by trainers who are experienced journalists and who have worked on both sides of the fence running newsdesks and publicity campaigns for private companies, charities and government bodies.
The publicity training workshop will be interactive and delegates will be asked to bring either previous press releases or potential story ideas which can be worked on during the session. Delegates should leave with an insight into how the media works, a press release structure plus tips on how to get media coverage in the future.
