It can be hard these days to make time to do something for ourselves, something that’s not related to work, but every year I try. This year I wrote a children’s book. It’s based on the story of my rescue dog with a message to young readers (aged five to ten) that you don’t have to be perfect to be loved. It’s about resilience and finding people (and dogs) who accept you just the way you are.
Why am I telling you this? Obviously, I’d love you to buy the book. The Big Adventures of Tinie. Each one sold helps a rescue dog. But also, unlike money, we can’t earn more time.
So,
*Do something which makes your heart sing. You’ll be surprised by the positive impact that has on the day job.
*Move towards people, businesses, clients who accept you just the way you are. Run like hell from those who don’t.
*And yes, please do buy the book. You can find it on Amazon under Downey Media or via this link on my website. https://www.whirlwindproductions.co.uk/the-big-adventures-of-tinie/
